A document shared on the Tesla Owners Worldwide Facebook group shows a Floridian Volkswagen dealer marking up $ 56,142 for a Model 3 with 2,084 miles on the watch ranging from about $ 10,000 to $ 66,224.86. Here’s a quick breakdown of some of those charges
7 997 leads to “VW CARE 5 / 50k” which, as far as we can tell, includes all maintenance services listed under the manufacturer’s prescribed maintenance up to 5 years / 50,000-mile intervals. The dealer also charges $ 830 for an Xzilon paint protection coating, $ 499 for window tint, $ 379 for all weather floor mats, $ 199 for nitrogen-filled tires and $ 199 for wheel locks.

The most expensive additional fee for a LoJack 5 year plan is the $ 998 charge If you’re familiar with Tesla, you probably already know that you can track a Tesla with your phone. It’s not stupid, of course, but neither is LoJack.
Keep in mind that for that kind of money, anyone can go to Tesla’s own website right now and order a new Model 3 for less cash. The base model 3 starts at $ 46,990 which means you can add full self-driving and still stay below the mark-up price of this VW dealer.
If you are worried about all the negative press that FSD is getting you can splurge its dual-motor setup for Model 3 performance instead and time 0-60 for only 3.1 seconds and still the dealer can pay less than the price they used. Model 3.
