2022 Audi RS3 Q&A, 2023 Peugeot 3008 Render, and Design Icon Options:

Good morning and welcome to our daily automated news digest starting from around the world …

North Carolina Bill Targeting Free Charging Can Kneecap EVs

It is widely accepted that charging access is one of the main drivers of EV adoption. So this is bad news for the electrical future when a bill threatens to discourage EV charger installation. According to CleanTechnica.com, the proposed bill would require business owners who offer free charge for electric vehicles to disclose the average amount spent on each receipt, regardless of whether the customer has used the charger. It probably won’t sit well with customers who don’t own EVs but, basically, subsidize charging.

You asked, we answer: 2022 Audi RS3 is what you want to know

After launching the 2022 Audi RS3 in Nevada last week, we definitely wanted to make sure your question was answered. In the pursuit of research, we have found out whether it flows (it did) and if it feels as fast as that nurberging time (it does). Other questions, such as how it compares to a 2023 BMW M240i xDrive and what else can be found in its place, are a little more concise. Go to the article for the full story.

The 2023 Peugeot 3008 compact SUV is coming to recover the crown

The Peugeot 3008 has been a popular addition to the French automaker’s lineup since it unveiled the origins of the mini-van in 2016 with an SUV body style. But the design, though popular, has begun to show its age, with a replacement set set to debut next year. Our speculative rendering shows what the new car will look like when it is expected to ride on a brand-new platform that will allow a mix of EV and ICE options.

Remac has invested 536 million in an effort to strengthen its technology business

Rimac Technologies – Rimac’s exclusive subsidiary that manufactures high-performance electrical components for other OEMs – is being strengthened by an investment of $ 536 million. The money will be used in part for the construction of a new headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia, as well as for the recruitment of 700 new employees.

Ford Cuga / Escape PHV: Here’s what we love and hate after 12,000 miles

Now after running a Ford Escape PHEV for 12,000 miles (~ 19,300 km), we’ve been able to add the good, the bad and the ugly from a proprietary perspective. Escape (or Kuga as UK test spec) provides decent interior space, although luggage rooms can be better. It usually exhibits good Ford handling and excellent range when running in EV mode. Unfortunately, the battery is fully charged but the latter is not available. Ford says disappointingly that combustion engines sometimes need to be run to ensure the safety and proper operation of the entire hybrid system.

These 7 design icons have become almost completely different

The Mazda Mater has a religion to follow, primarily for its design and simplistic philosophy. But things could be so different if the team continued with a mid-engine concept that was being developed. And Miata is not alone, with Porsche 911, Dodge Viper, and BMW Mini looking almost completely different from what we know and love.

The Land Cruiser rollover accident shows what not to do while driving on the beach

Shooting in an SUV is not as easy as it may seem Sometimes you have to take into account the high center of gravity of the car, as well as the surface you are on. This is painfully illustrated in a video on Gadani Beach in the Balochistan region of Pakistan, where we see a Toyota Land Cruiser dipping its wheels into the soft sand before attempting a power slide, turning the car around.
