U.S. traffic deaths rose more than 10 percent to a 16-year high in 2021, but there is an explanation
About 43,000 people died in road accidents in 2021, the highest number of traffic deaths in 16 years, according to the NHTSA. This is a significant 10.5 percent increase over the previous year. There is an explanation for the jump in statistics, though, and that is that the estimated total vehicle mileage traveled was about 325 billion miles more than in 2020. Considering this, deaths would be reduced by 0.01 percent. It goes without saying that there is no room for improvement, though.

The lights are now thinner and less messy, the graphics have changed to an “inverted L” shape, and the grille has tweaked contours and double bars. There’s a new wheel design and color to choose from, while the interior is matched to the rest of BMW’s latest models, including iDrive 8 and a curved display. All US-Market 3-Series will now be built in Mexico, while engine and performance statistics will remain the same.

It’s all well and good, but there’s nothing in the fine print to indicate a production timeline for Cm, when the price hasn’t been updated since it was unveiled five years ago.

Rumors of the Ford Thunderbird (indirect) returning as a Corvette rival
A report from Ford authorities claims that the Blue Oval is considering reviving the Thunderbird to indirectly fight the Chevrolet Corvette. This means that any potential plan to revive Thunderbird could see a name return associated with a larger GT, offering a Hello car that isn’t quite a gun for the C8 Corvette. There are still many questions surrounding the renaming of Thunderbird, such as how many seats it will have and perhaps more importantly, whether it will be an EV.
