Shortly after the US price announcement for the 2023 Cadillac Lyric, details of the Chinese version of the Ivy have been confirmed.
For starters, the all-electric lyric will be known in the Chinese market as ‘Ruiz’, which translates as ‘Sharp Song’. The carmaker also said it would start at 439,700 yuan ($ 65,350), or $ 2,360 more than the equivalent variant in the United States.
This entry-level model has a 100 kWh battery pack and a rear-mounted electric motor with 340 hp and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque. This gives the EV a range of up to 650 km (404 miles) on Chinese testing bikes. Chinese customers will also be able to buy Ruiz in dual-motor camouflage with a combined 503 hp and 524 lb-ft (710 Nm) of torque. Price details for this variant have not been announced, but it can reach speeds of up to 100 km / h (62 miles) in 4.9 seconds and can travel approximately 600 kilometers (372 miles) on a single charge.
