E-Tech Engineered Special Edition Inspired by Renault’s Hybrid Model

Renault has launched the e-Tech Engineered Special Edition for the electronic version of Cleo, Captor, Arcana and Megan (Hathackback and Estate) with new, fully electric Megane e-Tech inspired styling hints.

While it may seem strange that a special version of the older generation Megane was inspired by its EV successor, the most common of the selected models is the electric powertrain.

More specifically, the special edition is available for Cleo, Captor and Arcana’s self-charging e-tech hybrid variants, and Captor and Megan’s (hatchback and estate) e-tech plug-in hybrid variants.

Models benefit from a warm titanium accent on the front bumper, side seals, side gills, and rear diffuser / exhaust pipe, a special label on the front fender, and a matching e-tech badge on the tailgate. The Renault symbol and the lettering on the back end in black, as the grille and bumper are taken. A cool set of five-spoke alloy wheels enhances the sporty position, with a spoke warm titanium stripe.

Although all models have a gray exterior shade in the press photo, Renault says they will be available in a variety of colors. Inside the cabin there are warm titanium stitching on the seats, doors and steering wheel, matching the dashboard trim elements. The steering wheel is branded with the letter E and the door seals are labeled “E-Tech Engineered”.

The e-tech engineered special editions of Cleo, Arcana and Megan are already available from their home market in France, followed by the capture.
