Faraday Future has only 401 pre-orders for FF91 electric crossover

Faraday Future may return from the brink of death on multiple occasions but it goes without saying that it is prospering. In fact, recent financial reports reveal that it has secured only 401 pre-orders for the upcoming FF91.

It’s been more than five years since FF 91 was first unveiled but it’s only a few months after it was unveiled in production disguise. The 401 pre-orders secured for electric crossovers are fully refundable and non-binding, including the FF 91 Futuristic Alliance version requiring a 5,000 deposit and the ‘standard’ FF 91 Futurist model requiring a 1,500 deposit.

These pre-orders are fully refundable, there is no guarantee that they will actually translate into strong sales. FF 91’s final pricing details have not been announced, but it is expected to return more than $ 200,000 to U.S. buyers. Just a few months ago, Faraday acknowledged that it had increased the number of pre-orders for FF 91, acknowledging that it did not contain the 14,000 reserves previously claimed, but rather 14,000 unpaid “interest indications.”

Financially, Faraday Future reported an operating loss of approximately $ 149 million for the three months ended March 31, 2022, a significant increase from the ক্ষতি 19 million operating loss for the same three months of the previous year.

As of March 31, 2022, the total assets of Faraday Future were valued at $ 706 million, of which $ 276 million was in cash. It also reported total liabilities of $ 271 million as of December 31, 2021, compared to মোট 340 million.

Faraday Future plans to underpin a 130 kWh battery pack that will offer the EV up to a range of 378 miles (608 km) with FF 91’s variable platform architecture running on the road. The car will be equipped with a tri-motor all-wheel drive powertrain that pumps a total of 1,050 hp, allowing the SUV to hit 60 mph (96 km / h) in 2.39 seconds.
