Autonomous production lines are still not producing enough vehicles to meet the needs of a large number of dealers, and with that in mind, many dealers have resorted to charging wild markup on vehicles in an effort to pad their bottom line. Now, a Ford spokesman says a Florida dealer mistakenly marked an F-150 Lightning for $ 69,000 but said nothing about the others.
First posted on F150LightningForum.com, a picture of the truck’s window sticker in question shows markup in addition to the ড 1,495 fee for “dealer installed accessories”. After seeing a breakdown of the items included, we’re not sure if they’re worth it.
Includes a first aid kit, a roadside assistance kit, nitrogen-filled tires and get it, fender well liners. In addition, a vehicle environmental protection package adds paint sealant and fabric stain protection. Sharp-eyed enthusiasts can notice the blue on this window sticker and it is significant.

Blue window stickers or Monroe labels are only affixed to mannequin or test models that are not actually for sale. In this particular instance, the F-150 Lightning seen here is specifically used for test drives to help potential customers feel better about what they want to finish when deciding to place an order.
Mike Levin, a spokesman for Ford, specifically mentioned the status of the demo unit on this truck as he called for an article in Tesla that highlighted the markup. He clarified the situation by saying that the বৃদ্ধি 69k price increase was just an error where MSRP was inserted twice. Apparently, the sticker was removed and replaced within 24 hours.
This is wrong. The dealer confirmed that this was an error and that MSRP was input twice online. In fact it is a demo unit and not for sale. The sticker was removed within 24 hours. https://t.co/KbaGdNukj6

While it is good for Mr. Levin to explain the situation publicly, this has not deterred many commenters from answering further questions about other markups that do not seem to be wrong. টুইFuture_yas A Twitter user with handles sent Levin screenshots of seven more trucks with enough markup.
There were a number of users sending similar messages. As of this writing, neither Ford nor its CEO, nor even Mr. Levin, has addressed these specific messages directly, and quite frankly, has silenced the deaf.
