Above the heels of the facelifted 2023 BMW 3-Series sedan braking cover for the US market, German carmaker Turing has unveiled an updated model in disguise.
In Europe, including the 318i, 320i, 320i xDrive, 330i, 330i xDrive, M340i xDrive, 320e, 330d, 330d, 330d, 330d, 330i xDrive, the refreshed 3-Series sedan will come with many diesel and petrol variants. xDrive, 330d, 330d xDrive, and M340d xDrive. Those looking to take the keys to the new 3-Series Turing will be offered the same Powertrain, although there is no 320i xDrive Turing and a 320e xDrive model instead.
The 318i-based model drives a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 156 hp and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque. Power on the 320i model increases to 184 hp and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) while 330i lifts further increase to 245 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm). Sitting on top of this engine in the petrol family, the M040i xDrive’s 3.0-liter turbo six is 374 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm).

For electrified 320e and 330e, they both use a 2.0-liter turbo four which is good for 163 hp and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) in 320e and 184 hp and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) in 330e. . The 318d and 320d Sport is a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel four with 150 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) and 190 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm). The more powerful 330d is sold with a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel six rated at 286 hp and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm). At the top of the diesel range is the M340d with 340 hp and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm).
The European 3-Series has the same design changes as those sold in other markets. For example, BMW redesigned the headlights and kidney grille, making the front end quite attractive. The rear has also been changed, especially the fitted tweed taillights and a new bumper.
Housing a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen housing a new curved display with minimal changes to the refreshed 3-Series sedan and Turing’s cabin.
BMW will build both new 3-Series sedans and 3-Series Turing at its Munich plant. The sedan will be manufactured at its Mexican plant in San Luis Potosi, North America, while a Chinese version of the sedan will be manufactured at the Shenyang plant operated by the BMW Brilliant Automotive joint venture.
