Lumina hires former Tesla, Apple car manager and founder of Nvidia Automotive

Lumina Technologies, a leader in leader systems for self-propelled vehicles, has announced a number of new hires, including a former manager of Apple’s car project.

Christopher CJ Moore, a former director of Tesla Autopilot Software and a director of Apple’s Autonomous Systems, will join the technology company. He will serve as vice president of software and lead Luminaire’s global software development team, and will play a key role in advancing Sentinel, the company’s full-stack security and autonomous solution. Moore worked at Tesla for seven years.

Equally important to Luminar is the appointment of Taner Ozcelik, founder of the automotive business in Nvidia. He will join the company as executive vice president and general manager and will be responsible for research and development, product development, program management, IT, platform partnerships and semiconductor subsidiaries of Luminaire. Ozcelik most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of ON Semiconductor Corporation, making it the camera market leader in the field of automotive and robotics, resulting in nearly $ 1 billion in revenue.

Luminar also announced that Jackie Chan, former president of Harman International, former senior vice president of ZF Group and general manager of Global Electronics, Jared Jacobs, former chief technology officer of Intel’s RealSense Group, and Anders Dুনrলেn. -Jepsen, Tesla’s former chief IP counselor, Chris Lubeck, and Rimjhim Dasgupta, former chief of staff at Intel’s Emerging Growth and Incubation Group.
