New version of the Ken Block and Ram Truck Tees 1500 TRX pickup

Ken Block has partnered with Ram Truck and will soon unveil a special edition of the 1500 TRX pickup.

Two black and white teaser photos and a video of the powerful pickup truck have been shared on social media by Rally Star, though they don’t give us much idea of what to expect.

The most revealing of teasers shows that the truck is coming out of a cloud of dust. While there is no obvious difference between the TRX featured in the teaser and the model currently in production, we wonder if this special edition model will be a presence package with new colors and graphics.

If the block and ram trucks really planned this, it is also possible that the interior of the TRX could benefit from some unique updates and trimming.

Will this particular Ram 1500 TRX also get some performance upgrades? This is entirely possible, although a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that pumps 702 hp and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque as standard is not lacking in that segment. We know that the block prefers very powerful cars.

This particular TRX is not the only project in which Block has been involved since the end of its partnership with Ford last year. Not only has he raced a Subaru WRX STI, a Porsche 911 Safari and a Hyundai i20, he has also worked with Audi to build the S1 E-Tron Quattro Hunitron and recently built a 1,400 hp 911 dubbed Honeypigas which he will race. Upcoming Pike Peak International at Hill Climb.
