Engine switching may be one of the most popular fantasies out there. It’s hard to resist the thought of enjoying the best of the two platforms of your choice. For example, who would have thought that you could give a Lamborghini V12 a shoe on a Fiat 500? Sure, it’s an extreme example, but aren’t we all glad we saw it now?

Maybe your fantasy is about having a really unique, really one-of-a-kind kit car or replica. These cars often get a notoriety but sometimes they become quite flashy. We recently covered a story by Pontiac Fiero with an incredibly believable Lamborghini Mura replica.

Still, it’s believable that your autonomous fantasies are elsewhere. Maybe it’s in the past that a company has launched something like Chrysler ME Four-Twelve. Perhaps you want a specific car company to create a specific car or car line. 9 cars that were new when the sale flop, but now lucky
