Polestar has confirmed that the All-Electric 3 will debut this October and become a premium performance SUV.
The Polyester 3 will follow in the footsteps of the 2 2 because the automaker’s second EV was made from the ground up and was first teased late last year. Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polyester, has confirmed the launch of the brand during its latest financial earnings report.
“We believe that our future growth will be further accelerated by our entry into the lucrative SUV market later this year with the world premiere of the long awaited Polestar 3 electric performance SUV in October. The U.S. production of the car will be powered by the next-generation XC90, as well as Volvo’s factory in Charleston, South Carolina.
