Cadillac opened orders for the 2023 lyric earlier today and it seems there was a lot of demand because they have already been talked about.
A note on the company’s website states that “Pre-orders for the 2023 lyric are now full”, but customers can still sign up for a place on the waiting list before the pre-order. This means they could potentially snatch a 2023 Lyriq if one is available, but if not, they will be in the first line to pre-order the 2024 model.
Speaking of the 2024 lyric, Cadillac said that the initial delivery is expected to begin in the spring of 2023. However, “Complete vehicle features, specs, price and color” will be announced near the start of production.

Returning to 2023 Lyric, it has an original value of $ 62,990 and has been billed as “a rare combination of industry, technology and performance”. It has a 100 kWh battery pack that powers a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 340 hp (254 kW / 345 PS) and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque. This setup gives the crossover an EPA-estimated range of 312 miles (502 km) on a single charge.
Deliveries are set to begin this fall, and the model will be followed by an all-wheel drive variant early next year. The $ 64,990 crossover will feature a dual-motor all-wheel drive system that produces a combined output of approximately 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and will enable the model to tow up to 3,500 pounds (1,588 kg).
The strong demand for lyric is not surprising as the first version of the lyric sold out in a matter of minutes and 70 percent of their victories were snatched away by buyers.
