Maserati has unveiled the MC20 Cielo, a roadstar version of the mid-engine MC20 Jr. Supercar.
“Silo” means sky in Italian, which makes it a pretty fitting name for a medium-engined car that can hide its hardtop under the rear deck cover in just 12 seconds at the touch of a button, and its websto glass roof panel is also clean at the touch of a finger. Will become opaque.
We’ve seen older versions of this type of opaque roofing technology before on convertibles like the Mercedes SL and McLaren 720S Spider, but it can be completely opaque, such as the Porsche Tican variable light control system (non-retractable) panoramic roof. Masrati says that thermal insulation glass panels can change its opacity at temperatures of -22F and 185F (-30C to 85C), so the less the sun hits the earth, the more fair it is to assume it will work 24/7.

When withdrawn, the roof is stored under a new solid rear deck-lead panel which means you won’t see the 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 visible under a clear window in the MC20 coupe. But with the coupe’s rear screen echoing trident-shaped vents, and ensuring that SUV drivers can tell what you’re driving from their high perch, Cielo’s rear deck could optionally be fitted with a huge decal with Maserati’s three-prong logo. Matte titanium.
You won’t be surprised to hear that the transition from coupe to cabrio has added a few pounds to the weight of the MC20. But the month claims that it limited the extra flab to 143 pounds (65 kg), giving the Silo a carb weight of 3,395 pounds (1,540 kg). Since the Cielo runs the same 621 hp (630 PS), 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission coupe, performance still takes a hit. But it’s just a decent one: time from zero to 62 miles per hour increases from 2.9 seconds to 3.0 seconds, and from zero to 124 miles per hour (200 km / h) increases from four tenths to 9.2 seconds.

For the coupe, it quotes a maximum speed of 199 mph (320 km / h), instead of the “excess” of 202 miles per hour (325 km / h), but one thing that hasn’t diminished is the trunk space. Which is a good thing, because the 1.77 cu-ft (50 liters) available on the nose and 3.5 cu-ft (100 liters) on the back looks like a U of a McLaren GT (20 cu-ft, 570 liters total). -Hull
The Cielo 2023 model shares various upgrades introduced in the coupe for the year, including a Roman numeral-themed alloy rim, an alternative to the light carbon rim that saves a total of 66 pounds (30 kg), a standard Alcantara steering wheel that could be a carbon version. Shuffled, and an optional electrically adjustable steering column.
Also updated is the tunnel’s rotary drive mode dial, which now has a digital touchpad in the center. The display shows which of the five available modes (Wet, GT, Sport, Corsa, ESC Off) is selected and can be swiped with a finger swipe to reconfigure the rotary dial to allow selection of suspension settings using the same twist speed.
A new three-tiered pale blue acquamarina paint seen in this image is available through Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program, but if you see one on the street hitting the first Cielos dealers later this year, you’re probably looking at a PrimaSerie launch version. About 60 cars will be built with new colors, mascara also নতুন new Roman numerals অনু inspired MM20 wheels, wearing a gold finish, and PrimaSerie badges.
The price is still TBC, but the MC20 coupe is priced at $ 216,995, we wouldn’t expect much change from ie 230k for the Cielo. Would you take it on a Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet? Let us know in the comments.
