The Brabus 700 is a Rolls-Royce ghost that is bathed in carbon fiber with 691-HP

Brabas presented his views on the Rolls-Royce Ghost, joining the elite of tuners who get their hands on luxury models carrying the spirit of ecstasy. The Brabus 700 is based on an enhanced wheelbase variant of the Ghost, bringing a series of visual and mechanical changes for those who want to stand out more strongly from the crowd.

Externally, Rolls-Royce buyers generally prefer exquisite and understated looks, so Brabus didn’t go as far with bodykits as other tuners like Mansori.

The front splitter, intake trim, grille frame, lip spoiler and rear diffuser are made of carbon fiber, with Rolls-Royce badges replaced by the Brabus symbol. We also found the carbon quad tailpipes of the stainless steel exhaust system with the active valve on the back. Finally, all the glossy bits got a shadow chrome finish for a distinctive look, while a set of discreet LED DRL was added to the front bumper.

The most striking visual update is the 22-inch Brabus Monoblock M “Platinum Edition” fake wheel – again finished in Shadow Chrome – with a design that resembles a facelifted Phantom disc wheel though it must be sporty. Brabas did not mess with the ghost’s sophisticated planner suspension system, so the Magic Carpet Ride has been retained.

More importantly, the twin-turbo V12 engine got a power bump and now produces 690 hp (514 kW / 700 PS) and 950 Nm (lb-ft) of torque which makes it more powerful than the Black Badge. Power is transmitted on four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission of 0-100 km / h (0-62 miles) in 4.6 seconds.

Although Ghost already has a super-luxurious hand-crafted interior, Brabus is offering an extra bit of bling to make it even more distinctive. The Brabus Masterpiece interior features a bespoke porcelain-colored leather upholstery with quilting of square pattern and contrasting black piping. Finally, the dashboard, center console, illuminated door seal and rear armrest have plenty of carbon fiber trim.

Brabus did not disclose the price for their tuning package but we speculate that Ghost owners will be able to afford it. The question is, are you willing to add aftermarket options to the brand new Rolls-Royce?
