The C8 Corvette looks better with central drainage

The C8 Corvette Stingray has proven to be a huge hit for Chevrolet but one aspect that has sparked controversy is the absence of four central tailpipes like the previous generation of Corvette. That’s where NAP comes in.

German tuner has developed a new quad exhaust system for the C8 Corvette, made from high-quality V2A stainless steel. The system has two electronically damp and active 3-inch high-speed valves that open and close in milliseconds. These valves are powered by the tuner’s automatic wireless valve control system that reads the CAN bus signals from the vet’s powertrain and adjusts the valves accordingly. Drivers can also manually switch between different modes using the car’s standard Z-mode button.

Extraction will be offered in two different versions. The first sees an exhaust equipped with a polished finish while a matte black option is also available.

The C8 Corvette was designed for two exhaust features on either side of the rear bumper, NAP had to redesign the rear apron of the Corvette. This new apron can be finished with gloss black or carbon fiber.

Customers across Europe will be pleased to know that NAP’s extraction system comes with ABE approval in Germany and EC approval for the wider European Union. Price details have not been announced yet.

There are plenty of other aftermarket exhaust systems available for the C8 Corvette. For example, the system developed by Borla is particularly violent and gives sports cars some extra flair. A company called Aerolarri sells a central quad system for cars.
