The first edition of the Bentley Bentayga EWB Azure comes with special badges and extras

Two weeks after the unveiling of the Bentega Extended Wheelbase, Bentley has announced a special edition of the new flagship built to celebrate its arrival. The first version of the Bentayga EWB Azure will be available for a limited 12 months of production, with more generous tools and a few special features.

As with previous Bentley versions, the Bentega EWB receives special badges both externally and internally. In addition to the extra emblems, the SUV has a unique set of ten-spoke 22-inch wheels, jeweled caps for oil and fuel filters, and a bright chrome pattern on the bumper intakes that match the glossy grille. Owners can choose from a wide spectrum of 60+ colors in 16 exterior finishes or optional extended paint ranges included in the standard palette.

Inside, the “First Edition” logo is embroidered on handcrafted quilted leather seats that are standard with contrast stitching and piping. There are a variety of veneers including Crown Cut Walnut, Dark Bur Walnut and Kwa or sportier options like plain carbon-fiber, pearl linen like muliner pearl or dark tint diamond brushed aluminum.

Depending on the specification, 0.075 mm seems to be applied to handmade metal overlay dashboard and door veneer. Standard equipment includes illuminated treadplates, power-closing rear doors, 30-color ambient lighting (Bentley Diamond Illumination), heated steering wheel, an array of ADAS, and a 20-speaker nymph for 1,720-watt Bentley audio. The best of its kind

While the devices are quite generous, they still have optional features like the Bentley Rear Entertainment System that adds two 10.1-inch screens for rear passengers that allow them to stream content from their smartphones.

The first version of the Bentayga EWB is fitted with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that produces 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted on four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox, allowing maximum speeds of 0-60 mph (97 km / h) and 180 mph (290 km / h) in 4.6 seconds.

Bentley has not yet revealed the price for the Bentayga EWB, the first version is expected to be more expensive than the bunch, excluding any limited-production muliner-badged specials that will probably follow.
