The woman stole the patrol car outside the Massachusetts police station and took it away

A 38-year-old woman has been arrested in Massachusetts for stealing a police cruiser and chasing leading authorities.

The incident began around 11pm on Tuesday when a Maldivian police officer parked his cruiser in front of the local police station while transporting an eyewitness. The officer, who did not want to be named, returned and found the car gone.

A while ago, a state soldier was driving a woman randomly on the Zakim Bridge in Boston. Troops tried to stop the driver on Interstate 93 but he did not stop, chasing I-93 and several nearby roads. The driver was quickly stopped and arrested, where he was identified as Renel Sonia.

“This is one of the things that happened very quickly,” Malden Police Detective Capt. Mark Gatcomb told WCVB. “I would say there are easy ways to get transportation. If anyone needs a ride they can easily contact the police, they do not have to take matters into their own hands. There were no injuries, and as far as the contents of the cruiser were concerned, and from what I understand, the vehicle was not damaged. “

The 38-year-old was convicted in Boston Municipal Court on Wednesday and charged with a stolen motor vehicle, negligent operation, unlicensed operation and failure to stop for police. Her attorney says she has a long history of mental health problems, an opinion shared by her mother.

“She was scared for her life. It was like telling her something, like she was insecure. She was in a paranoid state, and I think she was just trying to escape and didn’t understand,” Cheryl told Sonia Media. “Think about it. I mean – who would steal a police cruiser in front of a police station? He was out of his mind.”
